If you're building web applications that need to expose an API to anything other than your own client, then REST is probably the right way to go. But if you're building web applications where your API is only consumed by your own SPA application then I have a better way for you.

In this talk I will explore the benefits of using Jimmy Bogard's MediatR to implement the mediator pattern in your web application and how to expose that directly to your SPA application. No more messy URL building in your javascript/typescript. I'll also look at how to use pipelines to handle cross-cutting concerns such as validation and authorisation.
